Thunderbunnee –
I love these tops. I reach for them for going out during the day to back country skiing. Absolutely love the weight and styling.
Jeannine –
Perfect for late summer nights and moving into fall. Traveled to Iceland with it and wore it for running, hiking and evenings at the camper.
Denise –
Perfection! My husband and I live in this shirt because it’s not too hot and not too cool it’s just right living and working at 10,000 elevation. I like it to run a bit longer on me and get a L but a medium would work too. My only grip is why not in purple yet!
Heather –
I wear this in mornings and evenings right now to chase away the late summer/early fall chill. Roomy enough to layer as we move into winter.

Charlotte –
I’m a wimp about the cold- and this is THE ONLY BASE LAYER I trust. And I have tried SOOOO many. You will definitely be pleased. Super great quality and longlasting.
Susan –
I think that the other smartwool products I have that were made in Vietnam were better quality. The ones I just bought were made in china and not the same.
Claudia –
This is a very thin base layer, thinner than other Smartwool 1/4 zips in the past. But I like it this way and will wear it often.
Claire –
This is a great shirt for the shoulder seasons–comfy and breathable. I’ll need the heavier classic base layers for the upcoming cold Michigan winter.
Amy –
I love this base layer. It fits great and keeps me warm during yoga and outside on cool walks. it’s thin enough to fit under a sweatshirt or sweater. I bought 2 colors and have worn them everyday since it got cool.
Audrey –
Extremely comfortable while running in cool weather. It kept me warm while being perfectly breathable.
Judy –
This is my favorite layer when I go out walking in Northern Idaho. It has a zip up collar that protects my neck and as a bonus it does not restrict.
Catherine T –
I love the all season model for hiking. Great 1st layer
DeWaun –
A perfect weight! Love everything about this. I sized up for a little extra room as it seems to have a slim fit.
Joann –
I love smart wool products! It keeps you warm and dry and does not smell when you sweat! I have been slowly replacing my running gear with smart wool. Good quality and lasts long! the base layers tend to run a little short, just wish it was slightly longer. But I still recommend this product!
Lindsey –
Very comfortable and fits great. I love it.
JJ –
It’s a great base layer when under 40 degrees and it’s a great single layer when over 40 degrees!
Kim –
Love this! Soft.
Caroline –
Light, warm, and oh, so comfortable.
It’s a dream to have one in each color!
Lisa –
I live in Minnesota. These layering items to get through the winter. They keep me warm enough, but they’re also not too hot when I’m indoors.
Jane –
Better than expected – love the color
Tina –
So soft, comfortable, true to size. It is on the thin side so I still need extra layers with it for warmth in the cold UK winter. For extra cold climates I would recommend a heavier base layer top.
Maddy –
So comfy, warm, and flattering! I like that it can be worn while exercising or just casually.
Sally –
Best long underwear ever! Will wear it all season.
Deanna –
This 1/4 zip fits great and is soft and warm.
Alexis –
Honestly obsessed with this. It’s a replacement for another Merino base layer I’ve had for nearly 10 years and have to replace because I’ve worn it threadbare. This one from Smartwool is thicker but still thin enough to layer, and I have worn it for days in a row at this point. Awesome. Perfect. I’m keeping the old one for those warmer days that don’t need as much layering, but this one is exactly what I need for the cold snap we’re experiencing right now.
