I’m obsessed with the all-season merino for most of my “basics.” It’s so soft, layers well and looks good on its own. I have about 4 shirts now and will keep buying one every year.
You do need to wash this on delicate and baby it a little bit to keep its shape and size nice.

150 g/m sq merino wool is the best year round garment. I am an avid hiker so 150 merino is a necessity. They are comfortable in warm weather (wear lighter color ones) and cool weather (layer with a vest or a 250). I have 4 of these puchased over time. The cut/fit is the same.
