After one day of wear and one wash, two out of four socks I just bought already have holes at the cuff. I would like to be wearing thinner socks like these most of the year, but I will probably stay with thicker socks that can take more than a day of wear.

For 25 years I have been loving these socks. They are comfortable and very comforting (like comfort food) to your feet and soul. I wear them daily during the winter. They last for years and always feel like new socks. They have a high percent of wool (more than many thick fluffy socks) to keep you feet warmer. I wear them around the house instead of slippers. I like in the 25 years I have been wearing them, Smart Socks has kept the same design. Make sure you turn the socks inside out prior to washing so they do not “pick up” fibers from other clothes in the washer.

Nice but ran a little small. I got the small size and it’s too small for my size 6 foot. I’ll size up because it’s a nice sock and I do like them.

These are the best and most versatile socks around – thin and warm. Thin enough for dress shoes, warm enough for ski boots. I actually panicked when our local store stopped carrying them. They are the only wool socks you need (except maybe some stipey ones – you reaaly need one pair of striped socks:).

My favorite socks for the past five years. These are super comfy and hold up even after many wears, many washes and even many dryer cycles (although I usually prefer to line-dry them). I never had a hole in any of these socks despite of regular wear. Too bad that the light grey color is no longer available though.
