Sizing – I got a size Small. My measurements are 27 waist, 32 hips, 25 inseam. Fits perfect except a little long (I’m 5’2″) and if I roll them up to sit above my ski boots, there’s a lot of fabric bunched up. (The ankle elastic does stretch out a little after use so that it is comfy to roll up the bottom, which is perfect!)
I work as a snowmaker, so my work is extremely physical and takes place in a variety of conditions, from 40 degrees in the sunny afternoon to single digits in the middle of the night. I have worn these bottoms at work under my insulated snow pants every day since I got them, and they have exceeded my expectations. I don’t overheat on sunny afternoons, and always stay warm (or close enough) on cold nights. They are super comfy, the initial “scratchy” feel of the wool wore off after one day of use. I love the articulated knees. The fabric has snagged in a couple places but doesn’t unravel at all from the snag point.
I’ve also worn them skiing and was equally happy.

I bought this along with 2 other pieces of undergarments trusting most reviews that this would be made from high quality merino wool and would therefore reduces the itch. I love merino products as they were super warm and comfortable but not these few pieces. I washed them twice before bring them with me on a trip and the first part of the trip my body itches and at one point rashes developed. I’m forced to bought different thermals in the middle of my trip (different brand merino wool) and my skin settled down somewhat. I spend close to $370 after tax for 3 items which I couldn’t use and even if I do get store credit from their satisfaction guarantee, it is still a waste of my money since I won’t be able to use their other products containing merino wool.
With their prices, go somewhere else that uses higher quality merino wool that would actually reduces the itch factor.

I have been wearing Smartwool baselayers for years this is the first time I decided to get something new. So I ordered my usual size and it is way to tight. The thick waistband digs into my hips. Very disappointed.

I bought this for a trip to Finland in December and layered it with another pair of leggings for more warmth since it was -15 there. I now wear it every day at home(North Carolina) in the winter because it’s warm but not too bulky. The knees seem to have added flexibility in the fabric for better movement and the waist comes up high enough to stay warm. I can wear this alone in 32 degree weather and be comfortable. I wash on delicate and they’ve held up very well. I’m 5’10” 140lbs and got a medium

Perfect fit and I I love the waist band. Moves well for Nordic skiing!
Nicole –
Warm and comfortable. I layer these under rain pants in the cool weather and stay comfortable and dry all day. Great addition to my outdoor closet.

For the Christmas markets
Nancy –
These keep me nice and warm. True to size and are a great base layer
Nicole –
These are great base layer pants. They look more like traditional base layers then leggings. Have worn for walking outside and skiing. Kept me warm.
Deborah –
I wear this item as part of layering against the cold. The moisture wicking function is evident. I am petite, but I bought the Large assuming it would provide some leeway in washing shrinkage. I think the product is culturally sized based on where it is produced, because the Large just fits me. I wouldn’t have been able to layer if I’d bought any smaller size. I haven’t yet washed it, so I hope no shrinkage occurs.

I like my new navy 100% wool tights.
I intend to keep my bottom half toasty warm in the mountains with these articulated leggings. I like how they match the intranet hoodie I bought. A nice pair indeed.
Mich –
So comfy! I’m very pleased with this purchase.
Toni –
Just like the hoodie, I got these to wear to work outside in 20 to negative temps. I was a bit worried when I saw that it runs small but I ordered a large (normally wear a large) and it fits just fine. Highly recommend and I would purchase this item again.
Mara –
I usually wear small and these a bit on the tight side but they are super thick and warm. Very dense.
Love them.
Stacia –
I’m already enjoying my new wool base layers this winter. I like my new Intraknit leggings in navy blue they match the hoodie in navy blue good.
Kristi –
Fits really well, even for long legs. Really comfortable, too.
Teodora –
Nice fabric. Holds everything in
Erin –
Super warm! I was very grateful to have this thermal, base layer for my hike up Kilimanjaro!
Anneliese –
Used these under my ski pants up on the mountain for hours in the mid teens/low 20s. My legs usually get so cold but with these I was comfortable all day! Big win!
Amiya –
So comfortable and keeps me a lot warmer when I’m skiing. I’m usually a size XS, but sized up to a S based on the reviews.
Lauren –
Intraknit material is definitely worth it but slow shipping. Took 17 days to arrive after ordering
Patricia –
I wore these to play in a golf tournament in 29 degree weather in Ocala Florida!
Victoria –
Super warm skiing on an extremely cold day! Thank you!
Nicole –
These are so thick and warm without the itch. Now, they are my go-to for super cold days on the mountain, under my hardshell snow pants, and no extra layering is needed.
Patricia –
I wear this as a base layer to play golf when the temperature is in the 30’s.
