Drew –
These are a huge upgrade from my previous non-merino wool base layers. I wanted to get away from the plastic fibers and these were better than I expected. The Medium sized fit my 32inch inseam perfect and the feel is so much better than my previous base layers!
Douglas –
I have a lot of synthetic long John’s, but these wool ones are far superior. They just keep you warmer.
A –
These are the perfect weight, warm enough when it’s cold, yet not too warm inside. Having a natural material on your skin makes all the difference.
Julie –
Perfect! Works great tucked into socks and work boots over top.
Chad –
Used on Utah ski trip in 5-10 degree (F) weather, kept my feet warm and comfortable.
Kalin –
Great base layer, well worth the investment to stay nice and warm. Definitely recommend. Works better than any other base layers I’ve tried.
Stacey –
Perfect fit keeps me warm
William –
Comfortable, warm, breathable. I was on fence about this purchase for a while but I’m glad I finally purchased them. Merino wool really is a game changer.
Scott –
These thermals put all others to shame – Incredibly warm and comfortable, I’ve already ordered another pair!
David –
Great layer when it’s cold. I work outside and these are great when it’s winter time. Fit right and always keep me warm.
Michael –
Warm enough for Montana winters without bulk so that it can be worn inside and for chores outside.
Kimberly –
Got these for my husband who skis. He texted me from Tahoe and said they are great and “even better than the other ones you got me.” I got him a set a year or 2 ago. I used the sizing guide. Got him a medium even though he usually gets large boxer briefs. (He has enormous muscular thighs that impede his ability to wear certain clothes- lol) But he said these fit fine!
Mary –
Purchased for my husband to take on our trip to Iceland, along with the matching base layer top. Did not disappoint! My husband thought they fit perfectly and were cozy and comfy! Worked perfectly under his snow gear, and even just to lounge in! Will absolutely be ordering more!
Joan –
A good warm pair of thermals
GEOFFREY –
I wear these on the slopes or just for chillin! So warm and comfy.
Keith –
I got 2 pairs like 15 years ago and love them. The only wear is a couple of moth holes. I’ve worn them for everything from being outside all day doing commercial snow clearing, to hiking, to skiing. I finally got some more because I wanted to get another pair into my rotation when I’m on cold weather vacation when I don’t have access to laundry.
Allen –
When it’s 9 degrees outside wearing these under my jeans sure helps. I especially like that they don’t pull the hair on my legs. I highly recommend this base layer or for just laying around home.
Anna –
Wonderful if working outside in the cold weather!
Gary –
Quality is good as usual for Smartwool. Shipping leaves a lot to be desired. It was supposed to be delivered 2/7 finally got it 2/14. Tracking wouldn’t open at least half the time. Never on computer only on phone. Will look hard to buy some place else
Thomas –
Fantastic base layer for spending many hours outside delivering packages on cold days.
Jesse –
These Smartwool base layer bottoms are perfect for camping and snowboarding! The 100% merino wool keeps me warm without overheating, wicks moisture, and resists odorsideal for long days on the mountain or chilly nights at camp. The fit is snug but flexible, making them super comfortable under snow pants or joggers. Whether I’m hitting the slopes or truck camping in the cold, these are a must-have. Highly recommend!
David –
We were worried the medium would be too short for my 6’4 boyfriend, but it fits great! He’s never owned Smartwool and was blown away with the comfort.
Thomas –
Great base layer! Very warm and doesn’t restrict movement! Highly recommend for anyone outside for hours during winter. Use them during winter days for delivering packages.
Joseph –
These bottoms are such a great base layer for the winter. I have tried other base layers and these being 100% wool really take the cake.
Jesse –
I’m beyond excited about this base layer! It pairs perfectly with the matching hoodie for ultimate comfort, ensuring I stay dry and cozy no matter the weather. They’re ideal for all of my camping, hiking, and snowboarding escapades! Plus, that vibrant green color pops against a rainy forest backdropabsolutely stunning! I can’t wait to get my hands on more!
