Dan –
Perfect fit, not too long. Light and breathable. Washes great, drying fast at room temperature. More colors please!
Tillman –
Older design had zippered pocket at waist, making tucking it in cumbersome. Thanks for eliminating that mess! Twilight Blue is nice. Need more color ways (navy blue, bright red, white…)
James –
One of the most comfortable shirts I have ever owned!

Fit has changed from the previous polo cut. Feels an inch too short and an inch too wide. Not a fan of a shirt that shows belt/undies when bending over or flaps around behind me because it’s too boxy. The material is legitimately perfect and I’m so sad to see adjustments made to the polo pattern that are worse for me than the old pattern. Almost the perfect polo. I know a medium would be the right length but it would be even more boxy and I just can’t do it. If this fits you right it could be the best polo ever. Merino cotton blend is my favorite casual material out there. Soft and supple with the right weight and thickness too. I just can’t love the fit to justify the price. Wish these kept the former polo pattern.

I wish I had known about this material and this shirt years ago! All of the press about merino being wrinkle, free and odor free are absolutely correct! Planning to replace my entire travel wardrobe from this collection!
Tim –
Love the 50/50 wool/cotton blend w/ no synthetics – the majority of dailyware is Smartwool tees and polos. I would love to see more colors – BLACK in particular.
Brian –
Its better then the last one
Jeff –
Bought the shirt but It wasn’t until later that I realized it wasn’t 100% wool., but a plastic/wool blend. Impossible to remove sweat stains. Don’t recommend.
Clarke –
Fits well (5’11” 200#) and fabric is great.
Scott –
Love my Smartwool gear. I have been a long time Smartwool lover. Have them for all my activities from everyday socks to skiing, camping, hiking, and golf. The polo is light and breathable.
Michael –
The design and color are great.
The fabric feels amazing.
Would love to see more like this.

I gave this shirt to my husband as a gift. After reading several positive reviews, I decided to give it a try. My hubby is 5′ 10″ and weighs 165 lbs. The “medium” is a perfect fit for his athletic body. (Not baggy or “wide” like so many shirts made for the increasingly chubby male population. ‘Sorrybut it’s true!)
My husband does a lot of international business travel. The wool blend is ideal for a long day as it stays fresh-looking and one of the unique properties of wool it’s ability to “hide” odor, go longer between washings and looks fresh when removed from the dryer. (I choose to dry this shirt only long enough to tumble out the wrinkles. Then I hang it on a padded hanger to finish drying.)
