Padding is in all the right spots and the socks stay in place really well, even when fitting into ski boots with orthotics. Calf stretch is perfect for wider calves.

I bought these for my mom. She absolutely loves the ski socks and the fact they go up over the calves. This is her winter go to sock no matter where she is, if inside or out at a bonfire or walking around her feet stay toasty. This is our first time trying to extra stretch, her calves are big but not huge so she said she doesnt notice much of a difference for her. So she was sorry she was not more help about the extra stretch part.
