I use this for snowboarding and backcountry touring on my Splitboard. I’m a big fan of zero cushion to pair with my snowboarding boots (while I do targeted cushion when skiing). I got myself and my partner obsessed with these as we are both athletic with strong calves. Most all tall socks end up cutting off my circulation but these fit so perfectly and are comfortable! I don’t have the end of day cutting lines in my calves like I get from standard fit which helps keep my circulation keeping my feet warm. I highly recommend if you’ve also struggled with tall tight socks, these are so comfy!

I really wanted to like these! The quality of Smartwool has gone down so much. These are way too thin! Will likely wear out in a short time. So disappointed!

The few days in the season I decide to put the board down and ski instead, I can trust these socks will pair perfectly with my ski boots in just about temp here in Utah. I have grown into the habit of taking my dog for a hike once I get home from the slopes and these hold up so well not only in ski boots, but also in hiking boots. My feet stay dry and comfortable after a full day of skiing and hiking. Cannot recommend them enough!

I really like the options of no cushion, and cushioned. It all depends what I use them for. They give me warmth, as my feet are always cold. Great for boots and shoes. Long lasting. Great quality. What I would like to see is ski socks in brown colors, light and dark.
