This is cozy and light, which is what I was looking for. I’m 6’1″ lady and the arms are long enough which is a huge win for me! I’d definitely buy more in different colors.

I am hard on my clothes. The zipper pull on the last smart wool sweatshirt i bought came off. Smart Wool refunded the purchase price and an additional percent to cover shipping etc. I had a new sweatshirt in weeks. As with all the tops I buy from smart Wool it is my go to.It is both warm and comfortable.

I treated myself to his hoodie in the brick colour last year and it’s great – but I’m a diehard merino wool fan, so that was an easy sell.
The one downside is that it’s quite large/long. I could live with the added bagginess, but it’s basically a dress on me – and I’m 5’9 with a long torso! It extends way past my bum (basically hits me at the upper thigh), which makes wearing it with anything but leggings kind of tough.

I wear it after skiing and it’s so cozy and warm. The wool is soft so no need to worry about being itchy. I’ve also walked my dog out in the cold wearing it and it’s warm. I purchased the purple and it’s a nice muted color.

Sizing reviews on the website were a bit inconsistent, and I tried M and Lg- kept the Med. The large seemed longer in body and sleeves, but not really much more room in the torso. It does fit long compared to the Classic Thermal Base layer 1/4 zip. Definitely happy with the 100% merino..keep making these items (and more!) 100% merino!

Super soft and flattering fit. Love the purple color and the slightly longer length. The sleeves are a little long for my arms (but not uncomfortably so), so would be a good fit for taller folks as well.
