Love the thermal merino rib crew and turtleneck alone or as base layers. I like how they provide warmth without weight or bulk. I’m heavier than I would like to be – 5’4″ and 175 so I bought the XL. Fits great without making me feel self conscious. I’m a huge fan of Smartwool – socks, tops, you name it.

This is the most flattering turtle neck. I love the purple color. It is slimming and comfortable. It does seem to snag very easily. After one use there were some snags.

Had (3) loose threads at the time of delivery, (1) in the knit itself, and (2) in the selvage overstitching binding and sealing the sleeve pieces together. These would have ruined the whole sleeve in short time with normal wear/washing. I was comfortable mending it with thread and a needle straight out of the bag, so it’s a non issue and this otherwise wonderful warm comfy cute turtleneck will now last me a great while. But something to be aware of
